The Thai Tuna Industry Association, the Thai Pet Food Trade Association, in collaboration with the Thai Frozen Food Association and the Foundation for Labour Rights, will be hosting a Workshop on Effective Welfare Committees: Correct Elections and Effective Implementation. The event will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Bang Khueng Nam Resort, Samut Sakhon Province.

    This workshop aims to address key findings from the GLP Visit 2025, which revealed that many establishments lack proper understanding of the process for electing welfare committees, as well as the importance of promoting clear and safe grievance channels. The participating associations recognize the need to foster an open atmosphere that encourages workers to voice their opinions, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of labor relations quality.

     The workshop will be held under the theme, “Effective Welfare Committees: Correct Elections and Effective Implementation”, and will feature attendees from 19 companies, totaling 42 participants, representing the three associations.
