We have additionally been collaborating with various <b>Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs)<\/b> such as the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC), and the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC).<\/p><p>TTIA is supportive of the <b>Royal Ordinance on Fisheries, B.E. 2558<\/b> (A.D. 2015), Thailand\u2019s Marine Fishery Management Plan (FMP), and the National Marine Fisheries Management Policy, 2015 -2019.<\/p><p><i><b>\u201cTTIA\u2019s stance regarding the resolution of IUU issues is based on the following four principles\u201d<\/b><\/i><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li><b>The academic principles and scientific data<\/b> of which collectively constitute the best set of data to be used in redressing the management of Thailand\u2019s marine resources in accordance with international standards;<\/li><li><b>The Legal framework<\/b> proposed by the UNCLOS 1982, or enshrined in FAO: In this connection, the EU Regulations on IUU fishing is also founded in part on the principles developed in the UNCLOS and FAO regulations;<\/li><li><b>The principle of transparency:<\/b> The resolution of all problems concerned shall be implemented in a transparent manner.
